Yorkley Court Farm NOW under UNLAWFUL eviction-- spread the word!

Police and county court bailiffs stormed the farm early this morning.

No eviction order was served - which means its entirely illegal!

Arrests have been made, people have been snatched and dumped
away from site in the woods... no-one is allowed on-site to collect
their sleeping gear and other equipment! They need hands ASAP.

Lift from ruardinn to yorkley leaving in 30-40 mins.

BarnCamp is a low-cost rural DIY skill-sharing event open to everyone, including UK activists, campaigners, people involved in social and community groups, and anybody else with an interest in technology and how to subvert it to put it to good use. This year it's running from 19th to 21st June.

There will be three rooms of talks, workshop meetings (see below), and a main hall of stalls, plus creche, bar, cafe and more. In the evening there will be a benefit gig and social.

Statement from new squatted social centre in South Wales

Join us once again in Wrexham for a day celebrating peace and calling for an end to all warfare. This day is about coming together and sharing what we have in a spirit of peaceful cooperation. Peace Day events in Wrexham have always been free of charge and open to all. The success of the day is about what each of us brings to it. You are invited to bring vegetarian food to share and items you no longer need for the free stall. If you have anything else you would like to offer free of charge (no selling), please get in touch.

We are a collective of free thinkers. Our lives have come together but our paths have been different.

From the 26th May to the 1st June 2014 Anarchist Action Network is holding a week of Anarchist events dubbed the Anarchist Travelling Circus in Newport, South Wales. The week will include, workshops, discussions and skillshares and more. We hope that these events will address some of the issues which most people are facing right now from problems with housing, to welfare cuts and the government austerity agenda, as well as increased poverty, environmental destruction, police repression, racism and the racist border system.

21 September is World Peace Day. The occasion has been marked in Wrexham for a number of years, starting in a small way with a service at the Catholic Cathedral and picnics for peace in town, and has grown year on year.

For 2013, there is a full programme of six events for peace over three days organised by various groups.

On August 5th cops in Greece continued their campaign of repression against squats by raiding three squatted spaces in Patras: Parartima, Maragopouleio and the Self-managed Hangout inside the Technological Educational Institute (TEI). 16 comrades were detained in total; 5 squatters and 11 supporters.

On Thursday 8th August, at approximately 10am, High Court bailiffs showed up to join United Welsh representatives, police and contractors booked to secure buildings, in an attempt to evict Rumpoles, Moira Terrace, Cardiff, CF24 0NE (aka: prison squat / 0ne squat). By 12pm, without even attempting to enter, they left the occupiers in possession of the building.

In the early hours of Sunday morning, we entered and occupied Canton Police Station. We did not ask for permission, as it is our legal right to do so. Given Cardiff Police abandoned the building over a year ago, kindly leaving twelve different open windows for us to choose our entrance from, permission seemed a bit of a formality anyway.

Bristol Defendant Solidarity (BDS) was formed in the aftermath of the street resistance in Stokes Croft in late April 2011. That resistance occurred when the state acted to defend a newly opened Tesco shop on Cheltenham Rd which had been the focus of widespread community opposition.

Now after 2 years of active solidarity work since its formation, Bristol Defendant Solidarity, with a little help from Kebele Sound Collective, present a benefit night of international radical hip hop, rap and conscious beats.

BGSG presents a solidarity event in Bristol to raise awareness and funds in an attempt to support social struggles and social movements in Greece.

HacktionLab are pleased to announce that BarnCamp is back in 2013 on the 7th, 8th and 9th of June. Camping for up to four nights high up in the Wye Valley on an organic farm co-operative with food included for £35 (£32 in advance, and concessions also available on asking).

Hello, we exist now. A network of squatters, travellers, the unrooted, homeless people, and supporters.

We’re now meeting monthly and are hosting our first event, a Squatters/Travellers Workshop & Skillshare on Thursday 20th December at 3pm, venue to be confirmed. This will be an hour discussing the law around squatting, recent changes, and how to still squat legally in commercial buildings. Followed by another hour skill-sharing how to secure and occupy spaces to live in.

We are currently organising events, planning projects, plotting against further criminalisation, setting up a squatters estate agents, and creating a support network for people currently squatting and for others interested in doing so.

There's now a free stall in Wrexham People's Market, Chester Street, Wrexham open for sharing from Monday to Saturday every week. The stall's being run by the people for the people. Those taking part include members of Give and Take, Freeconomy Wrexham and the Yum Yum project, others with an interest in developing the gift economy and everyone else who's given stuff, taken stuff and who's helping look after the space.
