Who is really progressive in Northern Ireland?

22-05-2008 18:55

On a recent trip to Belfast/Northern Ireland I wanted to find out who is really to be accepted as being a progressive force up there. The Left has generally supported those pro-catholics, who are working for a united Ireland as a part of a national liberation struggle from London rule. I decided to interview representatives of progressive parties on either side on the issues that socialists should really care about -- social issues -- to see how different they really are in their day-to-day politics in these current times of peace.

Camden Lab - Letter from Frank Dobson & Govt. deal : Lab in "return" for flats

20-05-2008 14:55

We have a letter from Frank Dobson MP for Camden. {9th May} and it appears that the government are trying to do a deal. They are, it seems, trying to persuade the people of London to accept a deadly lab near Kings Cross in "return" for flats on the Hampstead Road site, currently owned by the NIMR. If built the lab will see the Somers Town estate and surround, patrolled by armed police.

Camden Deadly Disease & Animal Torture Lab - there were 27 other bidders.

16-05-2008 14:16

As you may be aware there is an attempt to build a deadly disease lab in London. There were 27 other bidders for the land at Brill Place next to St Pancras International in the heart of London's business district. There is something very stinky about this whole thing...

Many candidates, corporate media obscures U.S. presidential politics

13-05-2008 15:12

Third political parties do not compete on a level playing field in U.S. politics; the corporate media will spend more money in one day, promoting the campaigns of Senators John McCain, Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton, than the amount of money third political parties will spend in one year to promote their candidates, combined. While third party candidates are spending hundreds and thousands of dollars on flyers and brochures, big corporations are spending millions to keep the names of their candidates in the public’s view.

child is not allowed to say goodbye

organised crime in the Netherlands. Bureau jeugdzorg the Dutch company that takes and holds children makes big monies by ordering the parents to pay for the 24/7 care in an institution. The children are not allowed to speak to their families ( unless the parents pay extra) and this is to keep them from passing information and to alienate them from their families so they can use this in courts.
The following is a horror story about a dying grandmother and her last whish.

Latest American I/Op: An army of media military 'analysts' recruited by Pentagon

20-04-2008 23:12

An investigation by the New York Times has revealed "a Pentagon information apparatus" which uses military 'analysts' in a campaign to generate favourable news coverage of the Bush administration's wars on terrorism and Iraq. The front page feature by David Barstow comes after the paper successfully sued the Defense Department, under the Freedom of Information Act, to gain access to 8,000 pages of e-mail messages, transcripts and records describing years of private briefings, trips to Iraq and Guantánamo and an extensive Pentagon talking points operation.

"Internal Pentagon documents repeatedly refer to the military analysts as 'message force multipliers' or 'surrogates' who could be counted on to deliver administration 'themes and messages' to millions of Americans 'in the form of their own opinions'."
