Open Letter to my Grandfather

REVOLUTION
by James F. Harrington - Socialist Workers Party Thursday

How Erin's Son's Have Been Used By the Capitalists

Open letter to my grandfather, Austin A. O’Malley, who I never really got to know, as he died when I was only four years old. He came over to the United States from his native country, Ireland around 1889, as a little boy of eleven years.

Like many other Irishmen from Louisburg, County Mayo, he settled in Clinton, Massachusetts.
I know that he worked there for a baker for awhile untill the Spanish American War broke out.

I also know that he was in and out of the Veteran’s Hospital all through his life. I also know that he liked to drink at bars in South Boston, sometimes with his dog beside him.

500,000 Iraqis may be in mass graves

So the choice the people of the US have this election seems to be clear on a two party preferred basis they either choose?

John Kerry "a bird in the hand is worth two in the Bush" or

George Dubya "killing two birds with one Saddam"

Simple choice really!

Blair ready to talk with freedom fighters

Mr Blair told reporters: "I don't think we can take any hope from anything until we know exactly what the intentions of these people are," he said. "They're not in contact with us, it's impossible for us to make contact with them."

Hello: I think without a guess that their intentions are to have US and British forces out of Iraq. As if Blair didn't know! But that's a worry if you won't negotiate with "freedom fighters" isn't it?

Expose Blair's Hypocisy on UK Hostage!!!

Blair is lapping up the publicity, on one hand appearing tough on terrorists, and on the other appearing compassionate to the family of British Hostage Ken Bigley.
The truth is very different. The bloodthirsty fools who took the hostages, and killed two so far, have NOT asked for the release of Saddam's evil chemists.
They have asked for the release of large numbers of innocent women still held in Iraqi jails, where brutal treatment and humilitation are heaped upon them.
Rather than admit that the UK government is helping to cover this up, Blair and Bush are prepared to let another innocent man die at the hands of brutal fanatics.
We shouldn't be pleading with Blair to help, we should be kicking his ass. Read more >>

Bush: Mr. Duhhhhhhhh

Michael Moore's masterpiece film about events surrounding the September 11,2001 terrorist attacks exposes President Bush as the mental lightweight that he is. On the morning of September 11, 2001, President Bush just sat on a stool even after he was told of a second commercial aircraft had crashed into the second World Trade Center building. President Bush did nothing for seven long minutes except look at the pictures in the child's book, "The Pet Goat". The dumbfounded expressions on Bush's face mirrored what was going on inside of his head. Not much... Especially considering he is supposed to be the leader of the free world. Read more >>

Service providers or Oppressors!

These service providers such as RSL’s and council officers are really oppressors who perpetuates the dominant cultures agendas. The first paragraph gives a brief description of the dominant culture. The second paragraph highlights the disgraceful behaviour of the RSL’s and the Council’s Housing Department. Mention is also given to what we as activist and the voice of decent should be doing in our communities to highlight and inform our communities what these so called service providers are really up to.
