Amdani Juma's deportation has been postponed until Tuesday 10th June, but remains a real threat. There has already been a massive campaign in support of Amdani and a huge amount of pressure. We hope to continue that by writing to a number of Ministers who may be able to apply some pressure in his favour.

Around the Campaigns Friday 6th June 2008

06-06-2008 13:45 | Anti-racism | Migration | Nottinghamshire

"As it stands Amdani is now due to be deported on Tuesday evening 10th June. Liam Byrne called Amdani's MP Alan Simpson in for a meeting. Around 300 people gathered to make known our message that Amdani must stay. Even though the Simpson/Byrne meeting gives a ray of hope we are still calling on people to contact the Home Office etc. For frequent updates, model letters etc.
