Business Post dump Sequani vivisection labs

A rep from Business Post in Malvern, Worcestershire told activists at a demo at their premises this afternoon that they had severed all business links with Sequani vivisection laboratories. A confirmation email was sent to the campaign shortly afterwards which is to be followed by a written letter of confirmation to the Stop Sequani Animal Testing (SSAT) campaign.

The Animal Liberation Front is claiming responsibility for the liberation of 401 animals from the University of Iowa in the early hours of November 14th, 2004. All animals on the third floor of the UI psychology department -- 88 mice and 313 rats -- were removed, examined and treated by a sympathetic veterinarian, and placed in loving homes.

National Fur Demo in London - Report

A great turnout of around 120 people gave shoppers and tourists a clear message on Saturday November 13th, that fur is not acceptable in London. Here are a few photos, full report to come. See  http://www.laa.org.uk

Stop building of new Vivisection beagle unit being built

Since 1984 Wickham Labs have been trying to get planning permission to build a beagle unit and state of the art laboratory on some land that they own, as part of an expansion project. Time and time again their application has been rejected. Recently they have appealed against this decision. It is really important that we lodge our complaints against this application, as these will be taken into account when the final decision is made.
