Japanese whalers being sued for Piracy by Sea Shepherd in Dutch Court

Sea Shepherd lodged on Friday writs to sue the crew of Japanese whaling ship Shonan Maru 2 for piracy in the Dutch court system for threatening the lives of the six crew members of the Ady Gil and destroying their vessel. Conservation pirates suing pirates of profit and environmental slaughter and destruction.

The BBC has published an article about plans to build new Offshore Wind Farms in sites beyond the UK territorial waters. The Crown Estate has already provided private companies with exclusive agreements for the use of these sites, which it does not own! Could this be an attempt to extend the UK territory? Could it be an attempt by the companies to establish independent nations to avoid taxes? Or could it be our chance to exploit the situation and establish an anarchist utopia?

Sea Shepherd vows to continue campaign after whalers destroy Ady Gil

Yesterday was a hectic day in Commonwealth Bay, near Antarctica, in the Southern Ocean Whale Sanctuary. The Ady Gil, while stationary, was puposefully rammed at speed by the Japanese whaling security vessel, the Shonan Maru 2. And the Japanese whaling fleet, and the world discovered Sea Shepherds surprise new conservation ship, the Bob Baker, an ex-Norwegian Antarctic ice-class whaling vessel that was bought in 2009 and secretly refitted in South Africa.

Marine Mammals And Other Sea Life To Be Decimated

The United States Navy will be decimating millions of marine mammals and other aquatic life, each year, for the next five years, under their Warfare Testing Range Complex Expansions in the Atlantic, Pacific, and the Gulf of Mexico. The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS under NOAA), has already approved the “taking” of marine mammals in more than a dozen Navy Range Warfare Testing Complexes, and is preparing to issue another permit for 11.7 millions marine mammals (32 Separate Species), to be decimated along the Northern, California, Oregon and Washington areas of the Pacific Ocean.

3 tonne boulders to sabotage fishing trawlers

Japan changes the law in The Netherlands

The Netherlands wants to ban the controversial anti-whaling organisation Sea Shepherd from sailing under the Dutch flag.
Public Works State Secretary Tineke Huizinga said Friday she wants to amend the law quickly to make this possible.

Rossport Solidarity activists board supply ship to Solitaire in Killybegs

Today Shell to sea protestors broke through a weak spot in the armada deployed to defend the Solitaire - the supply port in Killybegs. One S2S activist occupied a tyre at side of Shell ship in Killybegs. The Solitaire whilst being an enormous ship is dependent on a constant flow of ships bringing supplies from Killybegs in Donegal.

Thugs Seek Jobs at Shell HQ

The main doors at Shells headquarters were closed to staff at 9am today, 12 June as protesters dressed as ‘thugs’ turned up for a job interview. Shell security locked all doors as protesters tried to enter the building for what they said was a job interview “we hear Shell are hiring thugs to sink ships in Ireland”.
