womble action?

12.09.2001 15:22

What was going on? The wombles were ridicoulous. The only action I witnessed them engaged in was a push on the police line into the cordon, where the police wanted people to go.Surely a push out towards the gate would have been worth the arrests I witnessed and the attacks the rest of the crowd where subjected to when the wombles broke into the cordon.Nice one boys and girls.

Wombles where did you go when we needed you most?I know we should all take responsibility for ourselves on actions but you lot could have made the difference later in the day.Shame about the numbers more wombles and we may have got in.

it seems a little unfair to critcize us for what we are supposed to do - push the police back, allowing demonstartions to take place which are effective rather than token - however, we can't do it all by ourselves - the majority of the crowd has to be behind us. anyway, if you have any tactical advice u could always come to a meeting.

ps we're not all blokes
