CAAT march sets off 10.45 [DSEI]

Today's official march, organised by the Campaign Against the Arms Trade has just set off from Victoria Dock Road towards the Excel Centre, where the trade in death has begun. The Samba band are leading the way, with 300 people armed with an assortment of banners and a mock tank.

They are being watched by bemused delegates and hundreds of police along the road. The ares is being flooded with police vans on every corner. The protesters are heading towards the Excel entrance at Custom House DLR (Docklands Light Railway). In an action
earlier this morning, this area was covered in red paint.
