London Social Forum Debate

13.10.2003 16:56 | London

On Oct 4, the London Social Forum held its first meeting. See agenda and a summary from one organiser.
The LSF states states that it was started by London individuals, based on principles like solidarity, inclusion, horizontality, participation, and conviviality, to nurture "a great worldwide democratic ferment coming from below".
Grassroots activists are debating how to relate to the LSF initiative (urban 75 | enrager).
On Oct 19, LSF will discuss its position in regard to the ongoing negotiations to host the next European Social Forum in the UK.
