Let's all talk about "The Burning Planet March" on Tuesday 18th November, organised by Campaign against Climate Change

 http://www.campaignagainstclimatechange.net/

Unwelcome Bush just as he arrives .....and make sure the world knows we're still angry about the havoc he's wreaking on the global environment!

Remember this is a march through central London the day Bush arrives (or the evening before): this is a big opportunity not only to make everyone know he is unwelcome straight away but also to put Climate and the Environment up there on the agenda of "reasons why we hate Bush"

Assemble 6pm Lincoln's Inn Fields (Holburn Tube) - the march will go to the ExxonMobil (Esso) offices in the Aldwych, and then via the Strand, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus to the US embassy (for around 8.30 pm).

UPDATE 11th November: We will have a giant (10 foot diameter) 'glowing' planet, several 6 foot diameter planets (balloons) and 100 smaller 'globe' balloons, loads of placards, assorted lanterns... ....but it would be cool to BRING A CANDLE - even better a candle in a jar.... Helping the demo go with a swing will be the samba band...the incomparable "Rhythms of Resistance"; and also Tony Lourenco's bicycle sound system (its loud !). Speaking will be Tony Juniper (Director, Friends of the Earth) and Darren Johnson (Green Party GLA member) .....other speakers TBA (we're still chasing them..)

Who are the organisers?
