Free Software Workshops are now regular at RampArt

London Hacklabs Collective | 05.02.2005 00:08 | Free Spaces | Indymedia | London

Regular Free Software workshops take place in the RampArt hacklab now and until further notice.

OpenOffice.org (better known as Open Office) worskshops are quite flexible - so flexible they can be bi-lingual english and spanish.

If you feel more comfortable with your own computer you can bring your own - don't forget some leads - and of course you can use one of the computers set up with FreeBSD and OpenOffice.org installed, apart from the usual browsing facilities, and more to come...

The Open Office workshops are every Saturday from 12.30 to 2.30pm. For more details please email us (or check the comments to this article) on the London Hacklabs Collective's list,

 http://sindormir.net/mailman/listinfo/freedomlab

and some one will re-direct you to the people who are facilitating this.

If you want to give regular or one-off workshops in RampArt, get in touch too. You can email rampart itself,  rampart@mutualaid.org, or you can use the same email list -you can even subscribe and get involved!

Next meeting of the London Hacklabs Collective is next Sunday 06 Feb 2005 at 5pm (and every first Sunday of the month) in the RampArt Library 1st floor - right next to the Hacklab itself.
