G8 Climate Meeting

g8climate | 18.06.2005 18:15 | G8 2005 | Ecology | Globalisation | London

The G8 is coming… IN THREE WEEKS!!

A last minute meeting is happening at Rampart Street this Monday evening for people interested in organising, educating and mobilising around climate change at the G8.

The International Day of Action on the Root Causes of Climate Change on July 8th is getting more exciting by the day… actions have been announced for Iceland, Australia and Venezuela, and are brewing in Reading, France, USA and of course Scotland.

If you’ve been to the G8 Climate Counter Summit or one of its follow-up meetings, come along to find out where things are at and spread the word about your own exciting plans. If you’ve thought about coming but never have, NOW is the time to get involved! It’s also a good chance for new people to find out about plans for the summit, practicalities etc., so
come if you're curious, and if you’ve got friends who are suddenly interested, bring them along too!

Things we could discuss, share, ask questions about…
*Getting there – the G8 trains
*Where to stay – convergence spaces
*Actions and events – what’s happening when and where
*Beyond the G8

It's three weeks away, it's going to be amazing...it's now or never!

See you there:
7:30 PM, 15 Rampart St, London E1.
