Surveillance:

George Monbiot 1: Live on Radio 4 this morning at 8:15 am

George Monbiot 2: Locked on to the railings outside Iceland frozen store, Croyden, this morning 8:15, wearing only a red nose and wellington boots, with an egg running down his face, being ignored by police and passers-by.

When a policemen asked him what he was playing at, Monbiot 2 replied:

" I don't know, Sir. The Indymedia red-nose-wellies call-out was obviously concatinated bunkum. Would you please call me a lock smith, my man."

The police replied: "You are a lock-smith, Mr Monibot", and nonchalently strolled away.

These incidendents have brightened up my day.

Please post an email address or something. If it's a joke it's not funny! But maybe that's just because I'm not in on it. So please explain, as there is a real need for benefit gigs for the camp etc.

The promoter has had to hurriedly leave the county.

Could someone suggest to the real george M. that he organise a fund raise; that's if he has time between radia and TV appearances.

Maybe he could write something in the guardian too, and ask for donations.

And how about Bjork, could she do a gig or sumit.

They really need funds.
