UAF Finished?

Bone | 24.09.2005 00:11 | Anti-racism | London

Their latest conference is lacking the usual celebrities, even Labour MP's (bar the most unpopular one) will not go?

Is it the end?

UAF have announced another annual meeting, but given the recent trouble with Searchlies (who pulled away from them) I cannot help but wonder whether UAF has served it's purpose?

Their campaigning has been celebrity driven and not political, their membership is driven by Islamaphobes and the leadership, straight out of a time warp.

Searchlight at the recent TUC conference had major union leaders etc, while UAF had a half empty meeting.

Searchlight are not my favourite band, but they do seem to be outstripping UAF, not in celebrity, but in terms of real political work.

This UAF conference is driven totally by Londoners, when will the SWP give up on this practice and allow a true group to challenge Searchlight and Labour?

Where Will Andy Ali get his £60k a year from then, Uaf are a bad joke, anti Jewish, Anti white racists made up of self hate failed marxists and homophobic bigots, they have wasted Millions and Millions and acheived what, A dossier of BNP activists to give to trade union officals so they can racially abuse them "see A Redfern VRS serco" Yes they were found GUILTY of racial abuse by the highest appeal court on that circuit.
So all they have acheived in fighting racism is a judgment from a court brandishing them racists.
They Put the BNP in the headline news for 2 years constanly, on the front page of every paper months on end, the BNP would have needed £10 million for such a publicity budget.

Not a good result for £25 million !

"It's not a good idea to tell voters they have a racist party called the BNP standing for election, when at least 30% of people actualy are racist themselves behind closed doors "

"The only people who will miss the UAF is the BNP, free publicity should never be scoffed at"
John Tyndall.,

So who is going to remove the truth from the site,

Evidently not. :)

"Islamophobes" is a word you'll be hearing more of from the extreme right. Islamophilia is the latest hobby some of them have taken up, as a handy stick to beat the Jews with.
