loktantrabadi | 24.04.2006 14:09 | Anti-militarism | Repression | Social Struggles | London

Tuesday 25th April will see the Nepali people attempt to capture inner Kathmandu in a massive demonstration for democracy--show your support by demonstrating at the Nepalese embassy in London

Friends of Nepal and supporters of democracy and people's rule,

This week will see two Nepal solidarity demonstrations in front of the Royal Nepalese Embassy in London, at 12a Kensington Palace Gardens (near Notting Hill Gate).

The first is TOMORROW Tuesday 25th April at 12:30pm. This will coincide with tomorrow's massive demonstration in Kathmandu which is an attempt at a final push to force the King to give up real power to the people. It is being organised by NPCCUK ( http://www.npccuk.org), an organisation of Nepalis in the UK.

The second is Saturday the 29th of April at 1pm. This is being organised by a coalition of Nepali solidarity groups.

Information about both demonstrations is at  http://web.mac.com/virtual3/

If you can't make it to one of them, be at the other!

JAI NEPAL!
