The situation of the campaign following the victory against ASDA

Following the withdrawl of ASDA from Newham Council's proposed redevelopment of Queens Market, Upton Park, Friends of Queens Market is continuing to campaign to get rid of private developers St Modwen. Newham Council and St Modwen are still committed to demolishing the market and redeveloping the site. They are now searching for another supermarket to replace ASDA.
