karma police | 09.10.2006 10:41 | Lebanon War 2006 | Anti-militarism | Repression | London

Because parliamentarians will need help coming to terms with their changing circumstances New Deal advisors will be on hand at Sack Parliament to help them re-enter normal society and repair the communities they have hurt through their anti-social behaviour. We'll be on the rehab bloc, by the St Stephen's ('visitors') Entrance. Below is a letter sent to all MPs.

the New Deal for ex-MPs, a great opportunity!

Text of letter above:

Warmaker's
Allowance

an MP
HOUSE OF COMMONS
WESTMINSTER
LONDON
SW1A 0AA

Date 06 October 2006

Dear MP

YOUR CLAIM FOR WARMAKER'S ALLOWANCE

We have looked at your claim again following a recent conflict.
We cannot pay you Warmaker's Allowance from 09 October 2006.
We cannot pay you because your entitlement to Class 1 Karma Contributions has run out.
We have used the period between May 1997 and October 2006 to assess your claim.

NEW DEAL FOR EX-MPS

In place of you Warmaker's Allowance, you are now eligible for a placement on the exciting New Deal For Ex-MP's scheme. This scheme will allow you to offset some of your guilt by helping the people and places you have previously attacked.

This could include opportunities such as landmine clearance, rebuilding homes and cluster bomblet collection. Additional Karma Credits may be available after the donation of limbs or vital organs, if any willing recipients can be identified.

HOW TO APPEAL

If you want to appeal this decision you should contact each person affected by your wars and tell them why. Your appeal will be heard by an independent tribunal.

If the decision is wrong, the independent tribunal can change it. But the independent tribunal cannot:

- change the wars the decision is based on;
- restore the lives of your victims;
- accept any bribes from your corrupt friends in the arms industry.

If you disagree with our record of your continuing aggression, please tell us at once. We will check your records and tell you the result. If you still disagree you can beg for forgiveness.

Yours sincerely,

pp. Humanity.
