WITNESS APPEAL FROM MEXICAN EMBASSY DEMO

Som | 14.11.2006 17:31 | Repression | London

On Monday 30th October their was a demonstration outside the Mexican embassy, on george street central london, against the appalling atrocities being perpetrated in Oaxaca. See www.indymedia.org.uk/en/2006/11/355029.html, www.indymedia.org.uk/en/2006/10/354689.html and  http://chiapas.indymedia.org for information and reports about the brutal repression.

This is an appeal for witnesses that were at the demo and saw 8 people get arrested, mainly those who were playing samba drums. The arrested are due in court tomorrow (15/11) Westminster Magistrates' Court otherwise known as Horseferry Road Magistrates' Court. Witnesses would not be required to go to court tomorrow but would be needed if it is decided to take the arrested to trail.
