rikki | 22.11.2006 16:14 | SOCPA | Anti-militarism | Repression | London

tomorrow evening, supporters of brian haw will mark the 2000th day of his vigil outside parliament. his remarkable five-year-plus protest has suffered harrassment, legal challenges, violence, and every weather condition imaginable, but brian still stands up to all, and continues to remind parliament every day of the terrible outcomes of their decisions to terrorise innocent children in iraq and afghanistan.

supporters are warmly welcomed to mark this long struggle, and will be gathering in parliament square from 5.30pm tomorrow (thursday 23rd november) until 7.30pm to listen to some speakers, share some food and drink and wish him well.

as this will not take any form of demonstration, the police have no powers of interference or arrest, and so the more people that turn up, the better.

come and support brian - 5.30pm tomorrow
