Allotment under threat

Situated in Hackney Wick, London an allotment is under threat of being concreted over for the Olympics

The Manor Gardens site is over 100 years old, is home to 80 used plots, is erected next to wartime shelters that are now used as storage huts for manure and watering cans. How can an olypics with the ambition to be 'the greenest olympics ever' destroy this?
