Save ESOL London Public Meeting and Demo

An advert for our SAVE ESOL public meeting and demo.

There will be a public meeting on the 18th April at Oxford House, Derbyshire St. East London about the propose cuts in ESOL funding.

The government are still maintaining that they are not cutting the funding of ESOL. This is a public meeting with a broad spectrum of speakers who wish to contest their claims. Paul Mackney UCU, Monica Lucero (Esol lecturer), Esol students and local councillors will al be speaking. The main focus of the meeting will be to discuss how we can take the campaign forward and get the government to reverse their decision. we will also be building for the demos that will take place on the 28th of April. There are various starting points to converge on Hackney Town hall, Mare St at 1400hrs.
