Save ESOL demo in Hackney

Millie | 27.04.2007 18:08 | Education | Migration | London

Please come to the demo in Hackney tomorrow to defend free ESOL

There will be a demo on Saturday at 1pm in Hackney to defend ESOL. The government is planning to make people pay for ESOL (basic English classes.) They have already got rid of many evening classes that people used to do for fun, saying that education should only be funded if it is about preparing for jobs. Now they are attacking free English classes. Please come along and support the students, and fight for free education. You can go to Homerton Hospital E9 at 1pm or Altab Ali park E1 at 1pm and both marches will be going to Hackney Central.

See you there!
