Blair to be a Middle East `peace envoy` - is satire now obsolete?

Paul O'Hanlon | 27.06.2007 22:06 | Lebanon War 2006 | Anti-militarism | Iraq | Palestine | London | World

Is it April fools day?

Blair is now to be a peace envoy to the Middle East. No complicated analyses, no long winded speeches. Not even a photo with a caption in bold yellow Arial type. I won’t even express my `stupefaction` as Robert Fisk has.

Just one question: “Is satire now obsolete?”
