Critical Swim

Makes me think an organised swim across the water might really confuse them next year. Perhaps spacehijackers could also get an amphibious vehicle. Save up for your flippers!

Policing bill

17.09.2007 16:14

Had a nice chat with the chief copper while I was being searched, apparently the bill for policing was being picked up by DSEi.

Given there was wall to wall coppers for miles around I'm not surprised it cost £3m, the Excel security seemed to be done on the cheap tho, couldn't secure a barn door... :D

As it happens, the Police lied to you. The bill which includes drafting in plods from other forces is being picked up by the MET. Which means that it is ultimately paid by the people of London. Livingston has publicly moaned about this fact. DSEI does not run at a big enough profit to shell out 3,000,000. Most exhibiters are charged around £50,000 a stand. Do the maths....
