A lone protester manage to enter through the first security entrance at DSEi early on wednesday 12/09/07. Acting as a delegate and producing his driving licence, he was able to.... What started as a piece of Invisible Theatre soon turned into direct action when the Actor vist found himself inside the the courtyard designated for delegates only. Surrounded by arms dealers, genrals and security the actavist firstly took photo's of the occasion, chating to deligate about there part in the fair. (see insert)He then carried out the action that was not rehearsed. Quote " I am an Amputee and have met other Amputee's from around the world which i find a lot of them have been affected by war and the illegal arms trade. I decided to show the deligates and everyone else, up close the havoc their actions have on ordinary peoples live's. I acted in solidarity with those people who find themselves through oppresion without a voice"

This was done by undressing down to his waist revealing his missing arm and verbally confronting people saying " This is what your guns and bombs do to ordinary people, i urge you all to stop and think about your actions"
The Actor vist was then taken to one side searched then released only to be stoped and searched again then stoped and held for 45 min. Police under section 27 of the violent crime reduction act 2006 isued a document stating that the said person was to leave a designated arear around the Exel center and was not permited to return within 48 hours.
