Guantánamo Bay Q & A with Zachary Katznelson – 10 December, 7pm

London Guantánamo Campaign | 06.12.2007 15:12 | Anti-militarism | Repression | Terror War | London

To mark International Human Rights Day on Monday 10 December, the London Guantánamo Campaign invites you to learn about one of the grossest human rights abuses of our times - almost six years since the illegal detention camp opened, we invite you to ask any questions you may have about it to someone who has visited many times and represents several dozen detainees.

GUANTÁNAMO BAY

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

WITH ZACHARY KATZNELSON

ON: Monday 10th of December, from 7 – 9pm

AT: Willesden Green Library Centre, 95 Willesden High Rd, NW10 2SF (nearest tube: Willesden Green)

This is an opportunity to ask questions about the detention centre at Guantánamo Bay; about its legal status within USA law, about who the people are who are being held there - upon what grounds, and with what legal rights – and any other questions you may have.
---------------

Zachary Katznelson works for Reprieve, and represents men being held prisoner at Guantànamo Bay. Reprieve is a Registered Charity which, as part of its work, provides legal representation to prisoners denied justice in the name of the “War on Terror”, including those held without charge or trial in Guantánamo Bay, and the countless secret prisons beyond.
