The environmental impacts of food choices are moving up the Green agenda. This talk focuses on the effect of livestock on land use, biodiversity, water use, and particularly, climate change. The United Nation Food and Agriculture Organisation reported in 2006 that the global livestock industry makes 18% of our climate change impact, compared to only 13.5% for all of transport combined.
