Applications for the Sheila McKechnie Awards Programme close on March 14!

Want to know how to shape and influence Government policy? Campaigning on an issue that effects your community or the global community? Have the passion, but not sure if you're working in the right direction? The Foundation’s annual awards programme gives people like you the advice and support needed to better influence both local and national government. Programme participants receive 1:1 mentoring; opportunities to meet and shadow senior decision makers; and coaching sessions with experts in your area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone actively seeking change on social justice issues to develop expertise and learn how to take their campaign to the next level.
Whether you are working to change Government Policy, influence International leaders or you’re campaigning on a local issue, the Foundation can help you make that extra impact.

This oppurtunity is open to anyone actively involved in campaigning, from volunteers to paid proffesionals. In 2008, we have 12 categories focused on supporting campaigners working on anything from climate change to Trade Justice to Anti-tescos! If you want to develop your campaign skills and learn what it takes to make that extra impact then this programme is for you!
To find out more about this bespoke, pro-bono development oppurtunity visit www.sheilamckechnie.org.uk or call 020 7770 7892.
Applications close on March 15 so get applying now!!
