SHAC Demos Continue Apace In London

SHAC London | 29.07.2008 11:43 | SHAC | Animal Liberation | Health | London

Another Friday, another day of SHAC demos in central London and another good turn-out. We started our series of demonstrations against Old Mutual, 2 Lambeth Hill, who currently have about 15,000 shares in HLS torture through their company Acadian Asset Management.

Since our meeting with Old Mutual last week we have heard nothing more from this company. We do not expect them to hold their shares for long, but we will certainly not give them any rest until they do. This is definitely one of the best demo locations we currently demonstrate at.

Then we moved onto NYSE/Euronext where we had another demonstration shaming this greedy corporate giant for trading the blood money shares on HLS on their ARCA exchange. NYSE/Euronext know the truth about HLS, yet they just couldn't give a damn if they're making money out of it.

We finished our day of demos at AstraZeneca, unsurprisingly, and another loud and purposeful demonstration against this disgusting multi-national pharmaceutical company who continue to pay for animals to be tortured inside Huntingdon. AZ have been targetted a lot with demos recently, and they can expect many more in the near future.
