A New Stage in the London Olympic Competition to Spend Money

a new phase money squandering
a new phase money squandering

In the Olympic Park To Be after a year of demolition and earthworks, which have seen dust from contaminated land blown into surrounding neighborhoods with unknown consequences on health, a new phase has begun. This new construction phase is marked by large numbers of recently erected cranes which stand as monuments to the waste of public funds that are the London Olympics.

In the pointless spending of tax payers' money, the £9.3 billion project will produce a space which will largely be demolished again after the 3 week event is over. Promises have been made that no more that the £9.3 billion currently budgeted will be spent on the event. That would leave many to speculate that the money will simply be created out of the sale of unfordable housing that will serve no benefit for ordinary people.
