Cant Pay Wont Pay!- Demo in the City -Today 4pm

Wat Tyler | 17.10.2008 13:07 | Social Struggles | Workers' Movements | London

Seeming as many friends will be in London for tommorrows anarchist Bookfair it seems only fitting that we should come together in a display of our collective anger at a senile and demented economic system refuses to die.

As the markets tumble into freefall, States the world over bail out the bankers with the cash of those who can least afford to pay. Meet today at Bank Tube Station at 4pm to let them know what we think of them. Bring whatever you need.

Nobody showed, but media were there including print & TV. They stayed and waited and left calling it a non-starter.

Big opportunity completely wasted.

I didn't call it.

The people who assembled last Friday called it. I was there and listened to what people were saying. I, and others, assumed that there would be another protest in the city this Friday...and the person responsible for this original post seems to be playing silly games I think.

Nevermind,

Another day another dollar!...:-)
