Even A4E Tutor thinks Workfare is wrong

Dan Factor | 17.02.2013 17:49 | Workfare | Repression | Social Struggles | Workers' Movements | London

If government poverty pimps are slagging their attacks on the unemployed what hope does IDS have?

So I went a long to the first day of a two day course at A4E on Friday which I had been sent to by my Job Centre "advisor".
I went with much intrepidation expecting the tutor to be a real jack boots type who was going to batter us over the head for being unemployed and tell us we need to buck up our ideas and get a job.
Instead he was slagging off the Job Centre left right and centre and branded working for nothing for your dole as wrong and said the work programme is failing.
I was shocked and if even the staff working for the companies the government have hired to impose their persecution of the unemployed think workfare is shit then they really are up the proverbial creek.
