No Borders Protest - Waterloo Station 12.00 today - Report

The mini-detention centre at the Eurostar Terminal, Waterloo was targetted today. A 20ft Banner reading "NO BORDERS" was hung across the information board, whilst others handed out leaflets to the hundresd of travellers that saw the banner. Read more >>

RACIST IMMIGRATION SWEEP AND DEPORTATIONS OUTSIDE OF LONDON TUBE STATION:
NO ONE IS ILLEGAL


Yesterday at 3pm in central London, outside of Victoria tube station
something happened which I have not seen before. Almost 40 police officers
and immigration services officers standing in a massive line, with
sniffing dogs detaining, searching, and stopping people. At first I was
not sure about what I had seen, but as soon as I realized the only people
who were being stopped were people of colour, especially Arabs, and South
Asians it was either about stopping asylum seekers or "terrorists". Read more >>

Refugee-led protests against new asylum laws - NEED SUPPORT NOW

Join this protest against Section 55 called by the 35 asylum seekers camped outside Refugee Council [London] since 8 August. This growing movement started with Eritrean women refusing being made destitute by Section 55 and forcibly dispersed away from caring and support networks. Now another group of asylum seekers have taken the lead in refusing a racist two-tier system that denies women, children and men asylum seekers basic benefits, health care and other crucial resources. Home Office Disappears Another Family

The Trumci family were woken up At Oakington Detention Centre this morning at 4AM. They were then taken to Stansted Airport in London and deported back to Kosovo against their will. Removed from their home in West London and brought to Oakington in Cambridgeshire early on Sunday, they had been warned that sometime this week they might be deported. It has been a long week.
