Minnesota cops bust ‘criminal’ RNC/FNB protesters

A series of police raids that took place in the Twin Cities over the weekend, in which FBI agents and local law enforcement detained six people on suspicion of conspiracy to riot at the Republican National Convention. The detainees have not been formally charged with any crime and their lawyers are in court today seeking their release. There were no such pre-emptive arrests of protesters at the Democratic Convention in Denver last week

In the last 6 days Amadeu Casellas has eaten no food as his protest, the ultimate protest any prisoner may undertake continues. But in contrast to the last report which noted the lack of international mobilisation and political pressure to highlight his case.

He's still in prison. So the political pressure must be sustained and increased. & it is.

A Bugti tribesman who was burnt alive by Pakistan's Military Intelligence.
The situation in Baluchistan, which was illegally annexed by Pakistan in March 1948 has gone from bad to worse. Pakistan army is burning alive Baluch tribesmen. The Baluch have also voiced concern over Pentagon leaders meeting Pakistan army chief General Ashfaq Kayani in Baluch territorial waters. They say Kayani, who is a Punjabi, has no business on Baluch lands and waters.

Cuba arrests Punk band singer as "danger" to regime.

he doesn't even have proper punk hairstyle.
The band is called "Porno para Ricardo" which I suppose would translate as "pornography for Richard". Whatever, the Cuban authorities don't like the name, and it seems they don't like the lyrics either. Honestly not surprising when you consider they are a bunch of very old men.

But now they've decided to do something about it by arresting the writer of those lyrics and front man of the four piece band and they want to sending him to jail for four years because he is a "danger" to Cuban society.
