Ayaan Hirsi Ali: Neocon in Black Face

21-12-2007 08:31

The young, attractive Somali woman has become a darling of the American corporate media. Ayaan Hirsi Ali started out as a heroine to a portion of the Dutch public, who rewarded her with a parliamentary seat for denouncing all things Muslim. Apparently, flagellating one's own non-white, non-Christian people is a sure route to success in Europe, just like in the U.S. Ms. Ali lost her halo in The Netherlands when it was discovered she had lied on her immigration papers, but was soon recruited into the self-hating Black grouplet at the right-wing American Enterprise Institute, where she pretends to be a "scholar." America - what a country! Denounce your own people, and they'll make you a star.

We will gather them together and they will become the symbol of a way of loving which at the present is bound in chains, but which one day - thanks also to the sacrifice of people like Makwan - will be free and finally be able to “say its name” openly and publicly.

17-11-2007 00:35

The petition for the life of Makvan and the “Flowers for Life in Iran Campaign” – promoted by Gruppo EveryOne and backed by Irqo, the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission and Amnesty International – have obtained a memorable result. “A sensational victory for human rights”, say Malini Pegoraro, Picciau (Gruppo EveryOne) and Paula Ettelbrick of the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission. The Iranian judge who annulled the death sentence defined the previous sentence “a violation of Islamic precepts and human ethics”.

Hunger Killing Millions in India on World Food Day

15-10-2007 20:44

The Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations celebrates World Food Day on October 16th. This was the date in 1948 when the right to food was first formerly recognised by the global community as a basic human right. Yet there is massive malnutrition in India, which is still killing millions of children in India each year, an issue that is very much under reported in the UK press.
