Vodafone protest in Oxford

The Vodafone shop in Cornmarket, Oxford was closed for over an hour as activists staged a sit-in to protest against the company being let off from paying £6,000,000,000 in taxes by the Lib-Con government whilst the the same government cuts services from older people, students, the unemployed, the sick, and most other people that are not millionaires. Smash EDO visit Oxford

The fight continues
How to legally cause £300,000 worth of damage: An EDO Decommissioner and Smash EDO activist came to Oxford to discuss the campaign to close a weapons factory that (illegally) supplies key equipment that was used by the Israeli Air Force in the 2009 massacre in Gaza, and is currently being used in other illegal and immoral wars. The fight against EDO continues with Hammertime on 13 October.
