A 4 vehicle Special Nuclear Material (SNM) convoy left Aldermaston Atomic
Weapons Establishment (AWE) at 10.30 on Friday night 8th February, and
travelled to RAF Brize Norton, arriving at just after midnight early on

Pledger dies

Susanne Dow, who was an Oxford pledger in opposition to the war on Iraq, committed suicide a few days ago in Nottingham where she was a lecturer. The stress and threats from drug addict neighbours pushed her to suicide. Read more >>

Help with planning appeal signatures needed for sustainable smallholding

My parents are appealing against a rejection for planning permission. They live on 5 acres of land near Baydon, Berkshire on a mobile home (hence the reason for rejection). They have built a sustainable smallholding, which is producing eggs and meat for the local community. Read more >>

Cameron heckled at Xmas lights ceremony

Prime Minister David Cameron was heckled on Friday evening at a Christmas lights ceremony in Witney by several people angry at the impact of welfare reforms and cuts.
