2,500 March Against War in Aberdeen

Over 2000 marched against war on Iraq on International Women's Day (8 March) in Aberdeen. The protest, organised by the "Aberdeen Coalition for Justice not War", was attended by a wide range of people from political, religious, campaigning and trade union groups, as well as concerned individuals.

Edinburgh Anti-War demo bigger as ever

Today, there was an anti-war demonstration in Edinburgh.
The size of the demo was bigger as the last ones, at least about 3000 people or more turned up to walk from the two meeting points- either the fron tof the American embassy or Bristo Square at University to the Scottish Parliament.

pics from Glasgow The demo in Glasgow was absolutely massive. Here are the first pictures of a very, very small part of the demo. There were wonderfull, colourful banners,other diy stuff and at least three or four really good sounding samba bands and puppets and loads more. For one person it was pretty much impossible to catch all, it was too big, so please send in more reports and pictures. (article 1)

ANARCHISTS IN THE SCOTTISH PARLIAMENT!

Scotland's sham parliament was temporarily reclaimed today, when First Minister's Question Time was interrupted three times. Anarchists and allied anti-war protesters heckled their "representatives" over the Scottish Executive's disinterest in the wishes of the Scottish people - as exemplified by Labour's support of the war on Iraq.
