Latest American I/Op: An army of media military 'analysts' recruited by Pentagon

20-04-2008 23:12

An investigation by the New York Times has revealed "a Pentagon information apparatus" which uses military 'analysts' in a campaign to generate favourable news coverage of the Bush administration's wars on terrorism and Iraq. The front page feature by David Barstow comes after the paper successfully sued the Defense Department, under the Freedom of Information Act, to gain access to 8,000 pages of e-mail messages, transcripts and records describing years of private briefings, trips to Iraq and Guantánamo and an extensive Pentagon talking points operation.

"Internal Pentagon documents repeatedly refer to the military analysts as 'message force multipliers' or 'surrogates' who could be counted on to deliver administration 'themes and messages' to millions of Americans 'in the form of their own opinions'."

Petreaus & Crocker, Obama & Clinton: No Matter Who Wins, the War Goes On

19-04-2008 11:09

Both Clinton and Obama get big aplause from Democratic audiences pledging to withdraw combat troops from Iraq. But do either of them intend to end the unjust, illegal and genocidal war in which more than a million have perished? The questions Obama and Clinton asked, and failed to ask of Crocker and Petreaus, America's civilian and military satraps in Iraq, as well as the published statements of their advisors illuminate their actual intention --- to continue the war and occupation under a Democratic administration in 2009.

Sailors weren't in Iraqi waters - MoD

17-04-2008 07:43

The Times just published a Freedom of Information request about the location of the 15 British sailors 'kidnapped' by Iran last March. The Defence Secretary told parliament that they were in Iraqi waters when he already knew that this was a lie. The Iraqi brigadier in charge of these waters immediately rubbished UK claims but was ignored in the mainstream media.

John C. Yoo-- USA's EICHMANN --photos essay

15-04-2008 17:12

Author of Bush's Torture Policy
John ("Jack") Choon Yoo is America's Eichmann. Bear with me, I am not making this up; I'll give you the links to "reputable" MAINSTREAM sites. Furthermore, Yoo is the biggest personal threat to the U.S. Constitution. He wrote two infamous Torture Memos of the U.S. Justice Dept. He has prepared legal briefs paving the way for George Bush (or some successor) to become an actual -- not virtual -- dictator of the United States. This testicles bit is so incredible I will just give you the link:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Yoo He would authorize U.S. military and intelligence to crush the testicles of young boys to get their parents to talk! (And U.S. troops and CIA agents have proven themselves capable of worse atrocities.)
