G.W. Bush's criminality

08-03-2009 18:16

GW Bush 1981
Should George W. Bush Be Arrested in Calgary, Alberta, To Be Tried For International Crimes? ... Serious allegations of criminality are swirling around ex-US President George W. Bush and current Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir. In late February of 2009 it was reported that the Hague-based International Criminal Court was preparing to issue a warrant for al-Bashir alleging his culpability for genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity. As the documents were being prepared against Sudan’s head of state, ex-President Bush was preparing to initiate a series of high-paying speaking engagements beginning in Calgary Alberta on March 17. Bush’s visit to Alberta’s oil capital tests the consistency and authenticity of the Canadian government’s "unequivocal" position that "Canada is not and will not become a safe haven for persons involved in war crimes, crimes against humanity or other reprehensible acts."

Endless War

07-03-2009 11:08

The damage done by the complete capitulation of many progressives to Barack Obama is now bearing fruit. He is able to dismiss them and his own party without suffering any political damage.

Obama proves that there is only one political party in this country when foreign policy decisions are being made. George W. Bush may no longer be in the White House, but because of capitulation to the Obama administration, his grand plan for endless war will be a reality for a very long time to come.

Bushcrimes: Canada Should Bar or Prosecute says Lawyer

06-03-2009 08:19

Lawyer Gail Davidson says that because Bush has been "credibly accused" of supporting torture in Iraq and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, Canada has a legal obligation to deny him entry. The law says foreign nationals who have committed war crimes or crimes against humanity, including torture, are "inadmissable" to Canada.

Flying people to torture and death

27-02-2009 14:19

A Brighton family was forcibly deported to Algeria last week on an Air Algérie flight from Heathrow. The first attempt to deport them on a British Airways flight three days before had failed, allegedly because there was 'a problem with their tickets.' Both times campaigners from Brighton and London gathered at the airport and leafleted crew members and passengers to try and get them to protest on board, which may explain why the deportation was cancelled the first time. Earlier that week, about 50 Iraqi refugees refused asylum were not so lucky to have 'tickets with problems' or protesters leafleting at the airport. Instead, they were surreptitiously taken through the VIP entrance at Stansted airport and put on a special 'ethnic charter flight' operated by a Czech airline, which carried them to Erbil in northern Iraq. A few deportees were taken off the plane, just before it took off, after last-minute interventions by solicitors and MPs. One deportee was flown back to London after winning a High Court injunction.

Iraqi ‘Shoe-Throwing’ Journalist’s Trial Delayed Yet Again

22-02-2009 02:29

Muntadar al-Zeidi, the Iraqi journalist who made headlines worldwide for throwing his shoes at then-President George W. Bush, has had an interesting two months: he went from obscure journalist to international folk-hero, spent time in the hospital for injuries suffered during his arrest, was reportedly tortured, and was held completely incommunicado for nearly a month.

But mostly he’s waited… waited to see his family, waited to find out what he would be charged with, waited for his trial to begin.

The True Face of alQaeda in Iraq

18-02-2009 01:46

The Terrorist Organization known as “alQaeda” has not mainly attacked oppressors or westerners, at least, not in Iraq. Instead of fighting the brutal US Occupation and enjoying the Safety guaranteed by the Iraqis who welcomed them first (when they thought they would help them), they seriously damaged the Iraqi Resistance and it’s image in the world.
