It is like no other book in its huge scope and the levels over which the problems and solutions are addressed. And, unlike almost any other book, it is free, because having people read the book is far more important than making money...

08-07-2008 14:28

An Injury to one...
Saturday 5th July- as part of an international day of action against the latest illegal sackings of union activists in Michigan, USA and Seville, Spain, the West Midlands IWW helped organise a protest picket outside the main Starbucks store in Birmingham. The general public were very supportive of the protest. We were surprised how much people hated starbucks. The store manager hated the fact it the store was half empty, just like their tills.

Fairford Air Tatoo- Climate Catastrophy.

08-07-2008 08:55

Fairford Poster - after treatment
It is that time of year agin, when Fairford gets ready for a fossil fuel burning jamborie. The governement tells us to pump up our tyres and cut food waste, but none of this applies to the Fairford Air Tatoo. Get your paint brushes out and paint out their signs with warnings of global climate catastrophy. See if the Airshow management can stop us. They are crapping themselves about protesters turning up.

G8, NoBorders, demo in Croydon– bike ride included

06-07-2008 19:27

Was told after the demo that this had also been a Freedom to Protest action. Which suited quite well, given the amount of harassment given by police to all present, from the start. It feels like the objective is to discourage people from being politically active by simply giving us an unbearable hard time.

Waitrose Buyers not into telling you what ingredients their products contain

06-07-2008 09:01

It is interesting that Waitrose Buyers do not like to tell you what the cakes on their counters contain. Write them a letter and ask them and you will find they are quite reluctant. Secondly. you will be interested to know the Waitrose Leaf Mark is a lot of nonsense as they use human slurry and tried to claim the Soil Association use it - They do not.

Remember Independence Day . . . .a new way to impeachment - Congressional opener

04-07-2008 09:59

Yesterday the hitherto "outsider" campaign to get the facts of the USAs faulty election process into the mainstream - in fact, into action - (see"freepress.org""election coverage") has at last got into Congress, after numerous semi-hushed up arrests, resignations, inquiries, then people doing actual jailtime for it in Ohio have taken it out of the realms of "theory" into actual proof, with results.
