The Norwich and Norfolk Green Councillors have studied a report published by Norfolk County Council’s Cabinet, in which the County gives its preferred route for an Northern Distributor Route (NDR). Demo to Re-Instate Jerry Hicks - Cambridge transport

On 11th August Jerry Hcks spoke at a meeting in Cambridge organised by the Amicus Cambridge Central branch (which covers workers at Marshall Aerospace) and supported by Cambridge Trades Union Council. After hearing Jerry's powerful denunciation of his treatment by Rolls Royce, the meeting unanimously agreed to urge local union branches and union members to do everything possible to help secure Jerry's re-instatement:

Report back from Jerry Hicks talk in Cambridge

Jerry Hicks, a sacked trade unionist working at the Bristol Rolls Royce plant, talked in Cambridge on the Thursday 11th August. The meeting was organized by the Marshall's Aerospace branch of the Amicus Union in Cambridge, but the audience was quite mixed with trade unionists sitting next to anti-war and social justice activists.
