Organising for Climate Camp 2007 is well under way and it looks like being bigger, better and more inspiring than last year...so come along to our next gathering, find out what it's all about and get involved...doesn't matter if you haven't been involved before, everyone's welcome. Saturday will focus on camp-wide and how we network the Camp, Sunday is mainly working group time. Again, new people more than welcome in all working groups.

pipeline photo exhibition in London uncovers BP's crimes

"Land & Fire" is being shown in Foyles Gallery in central London from Apr 6-22nd. Composed of fables, photography, poetry and maps, the exhibition uncovers London's oil footprint in the Caucasus and Turkey. Shown in London because of this city's role in building the pipeline on paper & hard-drives, the exhibit contains images & responses from the communities alongside BP's controversial Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline.

"Die-in" at the gates of ExxonMobil UK headquarters, near Leatherhead Surrey, on Good Friday April 6th, the day of the release of the "Climate Impacts" section of the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) report, which outlined the devastating effects unchecked climate change will have on the world's poorest and most vulnerable people.
