Outraged Cambridge locals have launched multiple protests to coincide with the Climate Justice Action mass protests in Copenhagen. They demand climate justice and and end to false, carbon trading solutions.

This comes as Charles Darwin has finally broken his shameful century of silence on climate change, warning the world - 'Climate Change = Extinction'.

Climate Activists Invade Meeting of Senior Politicians in Copenhagen

Seventeen climate activists invaded an exclusive meeting between business and government ministers at a Copenhagen hotel this morning. The meeting, called the "Climate Leaders Summit" was organised by The Climate Group, an international lobby group who represent business interests in tackling climate change.

University research findings called into question over Tesco funding

Research undertaken at the University of Manchester has concluded that loyalty bonuses are a more effective way of motivating customers to re-use plastic bags than to charge for them. However, the independence of this research has been thrown into doubt, raising questions over the £25 million donation received from Tesco by the Sustainable Consumption Institute.

Mass arrests in Copenhagen

Tens of thousands of demonstrators who assembled in Copenhagen on Saturday to peacefully demand serious measures by the United Nations Climate Conference (COP15) to address the global warming crisis were confronted by masses of riot police, who cordoned off a section of the march and arbitrarily arrested nearly 1,000 people.

Yesterday three activists dressed as robbers have blocked the entrance to the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). The protesters, who attached themselves using superglue and bikelocks, say that the ICC are undermining a fair and effective climate deal at the current UN climate change talks in Copenhagen.

Report from Cop-enhagen

The signs up all over the airport and various places elsewhere in town are calling it Hopenhagen, but everybody I know is calling it Cop-enhagen, which seems far more appropriate. The international media has been giving this lots of coverage, and rightly so. Of course much of the media is unable to walk and chew gum at the same time, so other things, such as the reason the protests are happening in the first place, can get lost.

COP15 prisoners riot in makeshift jail

For the second day in a row, the police have used pepperspray against the inmates in the climate prison in Valby. Climate activists smashed the cages and used benches to break cell doors open. The police are sending out daily press-releases with the latest news about the many arrests in connection with the protests against the COP15 summit, but some stories never go further than the police’s leadership and are left out of the official accounts.

Devlish May out and about on the streets of Copenhagen n the 12th of December obtained audio of Carbon traders who were actually out on the streets evangelising that climate catastrophe is great for trade and were very excited that every crisis is a profit!
Devlish May also bumped into Queens of Denmark who esposed love for the global family.

COP15 - more mass arrests

The second day at COP15 saw another mass arrest of hundreds of activists, as the Danish state continues to show a complete disregard for the right to protest. A 'Hit The Production' march to the Harbour called to highlight the way in which capitalist organisation of production in our societies is the root cause of climate change set off at 12:40 towards the harbour. Within an hour police moved in, took the sound system and began arresting hundreds. Arrestees were loaded onto coaches and taken to a detention centre, where conditions were detained in oppressive conditions
