Polish MEP says gays and the issue 'undermine the EU' !!

MEP's debated homosexuality on Jan 16th. They demanded
better protection for LGBT people across the EU in the light of recent attacks and some new (Eastern Euro) countries bans on gay parades and civil partnerships etc(Poland/Latvia etc)
However,a Polish MEP defended its 'position'. (See 1 & 2)

Greenpeace Ocean's Campaign

From Greenpeace HQ:
We've carried out a study of UK supermarkets, ranking them by their seafood policies. ASDA comes bottom of the league, while Tesco and Morrisons also fare poorly, revealing that Britain's biggest retailers are responsible for the destruction of fish stocks. Marks & Spencer and Waitrose top the scorecard thanks to their implemented sustainable seafood policies, but nearly all of the UK's major supermarkets are selling endangered and threatened varieties of fish.
Tell ASDA to sort out their seafood!

On 23rd November 2005 West Berkshire Planning Committee voted to defer a decision on whether to support the Atomic Weapons Establishment's full planning notice for the controversial Orion laser facility .
