Join us for this annual demonstration for 'Independence FROM America'. Menwith Hill is an extremely important US base – occupied and controlled by the NSA, USAF and other Agencies. It is unaccountable, secretive and out of control of the UK government. It has many deeply concerning roles.

Census Refuser Derek Shields' Appeal at the Crown Court in Liverpool (Part 1)

Derek Shields was found guilty of failing to complete the 2011 Census at Liverpool Magistrates court in January.

He explained to the magistrates that he had refused to comply because of Lockheed Martin's involvement in the Census ('I'm not getting into bed with an arms dealer') and his Christian faith. Today, the Crown Court upheld that conviction for reasons that have yet to be given. An application by the prosecution (respondents) for £1,300 in costs was refused. No costs were awarded against Derek. Derek has made it clear that he does not intend to pay the fine imposed by the Magistrates Court.

The MCB published a news release on 1st June 2012 titled ‘British Muslims & Muslim Council Celebrates Queens Reign’, saying 'British Muslims are “deeply grateful” for The Queen’s long interest in her Muslim subjects'. Upon reading this, I felt sick as the MCB have ignored and thus dismissed the abuses perpetrated/condoned by the British Monarchy. Israel is the most naive and racist country in the West ...... The migrants are less of a danger than what people think. The real danger is the way they are being treated. ..... Israel is both the most racist and most naive country in the West. Racist, because in no other country can politicians make remarks about migrants as they do here and still remain in office another day; naive, because only now has Israel discovered the problem that has been facing the “first world” for years. Only in Israel can a parliamentarian from the ruling party describe the migrants as a “cancer,” and, far worse, it is only in Israel that she could do so knowing that her contemptible racism would merely gain her support.

There's a film being made about the anti-war protests of 15 Feb 2003, the film makers "working closely with the Stop the War Coalition" amongst others. It doesn't sound like STWC will be claiming their share of responsibility for the failure of the day - by doing their utmost to stop any civil disobedience or resistance for example. The invitation suggests that the "Arab Revolutions and the subsequent Indignados and Occupy Movements" started here. Oh really? You may well not be selected if you present an alternative view of the day, but here are the details in case you'd like to take part.
