Trafficking from poor to rich countries - a tolerated transnational traumatising

14-02-2005 10:33

The Paper examines the crime, its operational aspects, a practical professional solution devised by the writer herself from her extensive experience as a forensic accountant and legal writer and expert witness in business accounting matters. The Paper suggests that, as the UK's FIRST conviction for trafficking in 2004 , other countries should follow suit and hand out severe penalties to these operators BUT ALSO , that all countries should PUNISH the men who frequent brothels and cause the supply, they being the demand. They are as guilty as the operators; it is for their gratification that these women are sorely used, collecting a mere one hundreth of the price that these detestable frequenters pay, causing them to stay in forced prostitution until they can function no longer.

What follows are notes and further thinking through of a topic that could prove strategically liberating for anyone committed to authentic critical thinking and liberation from colonizer interests in *all* their forms, not just some of their forms.
