LINSLADE BYPASS ACTION HOTS UP

The controversial Linslade bypass has started to attract large interest from the media as photographers from the national newspapers and television have started turning up on site wanting to do interviews at the newly formed camp and occupied tree house. Reports leaked from the local media said that Buckinghamshire Council have had crisis meetings with the police and other councils that have been in a similar situation and are expecting another Newbury. They are also talking to their legal department over the rights to squat the camp and to see what laws they can use to stop the protesters

on liberating Auschwitz

Whatever we think of Stalin and the awful brutalities of soviet communism, we should not forget it was the epic battles and sacrifice on the eastern front that truly decided the Nazis fate. On this 60th anniversary of the holocaust, an interesting article on the soviet liberation of Auschwitz including the little known relevation it was heavily defended. Very little is published in the western media about the soviet war effort, well done the Guardian for doing so.


btw, being self publishing wouldn't it be great if veterans published their memories on here, not patriotic shit, but just what happened.
