Undercover Police Officers Licensed to Rape and Discredit UK Citizens

24-06-2013 08:51

Mark Kennedy

UK Police forces have despatched undercover agents into peaceful protest movements, where they have engaged in intimate sexual relationships and even had children with the targets of their espionage, while maintaining their cover. They have also been found smearing the families of murder victims and justice campaigners, and undertaken illegal actions to discredit otherwise peaceful movements. Undercover police exist and it seems they are licensed to do just about anything to suppress our ability to dissent.

We will have a people's picnic outside City Hall against the bedroom tax and hopefully a barbecue and maybe even music too. We invite councillors to 'talk to us, not about us'. Maybe we can discuss a no evictions policy and reclassifying homes to help defeat the bedroom tax over a burger!

Edward Snowden Charged Under the Espionage Act

23-06-2013 18:28

On June 21, Obama's Justice Department charged Snowden with espionage. It did so ruthlessly, irresponsibly and unconstitutionally. It wrongfully accused him of violating 1917 Espionage Act provisions. It was enacted during WW I. It's long ago outdated. It has no current relevance. It belongs in history's dustbin.

Sabotage Against Shell’s Pipeline in Erris, Ireland

23-06-2013 16:07

Yesterday morning around 50 Shell to Sea campaigners kicked off the Week of Action against Shell’s experimental high pressure gas pipe in Erris by tearing up the bog road Shell has laid as part of its attempt to finish the pipeline. They also destroyed the sandbag dam that Shell were attempting to build across part of the estuary in order to be able to work on the pipeline route regardless of the tides. This was accomplished in full view of about 15 security from IRMS – the security company hired by Shell to repress protest.

Support Needed: Calais Migrant Food Project 8-21st July

22-06-2013 18:29

Nottingham Migrant Solidarity is a group that aims to offer practical support to migrants on the France/UK border. Hundreds of people face destitution, brutality and harassment every day in Calais and most are fleeing violence and persecution in their home countries. We are a self-organised group who plan to give out free food to migrants in Calais between the 8th and 22nd July. In the months of July and August the charities who usually provide food are closed. This makes it imperative that groups such as ourselves distribute food during this period.

The Story of the Regime

22-06-2013 13:59

Before the revolution there was famine, massacre and death
Avoidable suffering, forced austerity and the regime
And there were people who could not forget
That most of its lifetime
Humanity lived without these scourges
But other people could not remember
Because most of their lifetime
It did not occur to them.

6 torched vehicles at UKBA crime team building & Tascor transporters smashed

22-06-2013 12:09

Hidden inside a quiet business park in Portishead, just outside Bristol, is a UK Border Agency office from where an immigration crime team work with police, including launching raids in the south-west. We visited Thursday night into Friday (with the death of anarchist Carlo Guiliani in combat with police during the G8 summit 12 years ago still fresh in our minds) to set fires that damaged the building and burnt 6 vehicles stationed there - 3 cars, 2 blacked-out people carrier vans (known to be used for dawn snatches of immigrant family groups) and 1 large van. The border regime mercenaries draw the attention of our total contempt the same as any other cop does, and now this long arm of the State has felt that we are close and we don't stop.
