Salonika 7 Hunger Strike: Solidarity Action

Seven people arrested last June during the anti-EU Summit demonstrations in Thessaloniki, Greece, are still in prison awaiting trial. Five on them have been on hunger strike for over 41 days and are currently hospitalized in critical condition. A solidarity action has been taking place in Edinburgh since Monday 17th November

Update: Anti-social Behaviour Bill

I recently obtained a Legal Defence & Monitoring Group Update that has information which will be of interest to people on this list.
The so-called Anti-social Behaviour Bill currently going through Parliament will drastically revise the 1986 Public Order Act by reducing the number of people that consititute an 'assembly' from 20 to 2.

Geroge W Bush had a quite unwelcome reception in Brixton tonight tuesday 18 Nov. Minutes after Air Force One landed in Heathrow, a public court case against the US president took place. The defendant - GW Bush - was found guilty of many counts and crimes against humanity, therefore the jugde ordered the toppling of his statue and a cellebration afterwards. It appears Bliar has been taking ill counsel once again, listening to (an out of touch with reality and public opinion) spin doctors setting Bliar up for another PR disaster. The final nail in the coffin of New labours, re-election hopes.
